Infrastructure Sustainability

Kat's combination of experience in sustainable energy and material conservation, along with her extensive community and stakeholder engagement experience provide her with a detailed understanding of both environmental and social aspects of sustainability. 

Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency

In her spare time, Kat is a part time Senior Lecturer in the Energy program at Murdoch University.  She teaches in a variety of units including Climate Change Science and Policy, Energy Policy, Sustainable Energy Development and in technical areas in other units including feasibility studies, solar devices and technologies.

Environmental and Sustainability Auditing

Katrina is a qualified ISO14001 auditor and has applied these skills to Environmental, Sustainability and Heritage Management Systems auditing. She also has experience at transitioning Environmental Management Systems to the ISO14001:2015 standard.

Carbon Footprinting

 Katrina has an extensive track record in carbon management, with a particular emphasis on the sustainable use of energy in residential, commercial and industrial projects. In addition to these specific projects, she taught, coordinated and undertook research in renewable energy and energy efficiency.

Waste Management Plans

Kat has more than five years experience in Waste Management Plans for construction and operation of infrastructure and commercial/mixed use developments in WA and on the east coast of Australia.
