Kat's combination of experience in sustainable energy and material conservation, along with her extensive community and stakeholder engagement experience provide her with a detailed understanding of both environmental and social aspects of sustainability.
In 2014, she was the Inaugural winner of the Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia's Individual Leadership in Infrastructure Sustainability Award.
Katrina has an extensive track record in carbon management, with a particular emphasis on the sustainable use of energy in residential, commercial and industrial projects. In addition to these specific projects, she taught, coordinated and undertook research in renewable energy and energy efficiency.
Katrina is a qualified ISO14001 auditor and has applied these skills to Environmental, Sustainability and Heritage Management Systems auditing. She also has experience at transitioning Environmental Management Systems to the ISO14001:2015/16 standard.
